A company is looking for a Mainframe Performance and Capacity Planning Engineer. Key Responsibilities Define and evaluate z/OS-based performance data, establishing trends and workload forecasts Write policies and define classes for Workload Management (WLM) Utilize real-time monitoring tools and analyze mainframe performance data Required Qualifications Experience in mainframe performance and capacity planning, including batch, CICS, DB2, and MQ Proficient in real-time monitoring tools such as TMON, Performance Analyzer, and Omegamon Experience with developing or modifying SAS/MXG programs and analyzing SMF and RMF records Preferred bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required due to government contract
