Key Responsibilities Monitor and optimize DB2 system performance, including storage, memory, I/O, and CPU Install, upgrade, and maintain DB2 and third-party tools using SMP/E Troubleshoot and resolve DB2-related issues, collaborating with IBM/ISV support as necessary Required Qualifications Experience with DB2 installations and upgrades Proficiency in performance tuning and troubleshooting DB2 systems Familiarity with REXX for task automation Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support as required
