Medical Only Claims Examiner
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner I / Medical Only (Workers' compensation). Key Responsibilities Manage an assigned medical-only caseload of workers' compensation claims Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits according to state law and company guidelines Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred One (1) year or more related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Technical understanding of statutory regulations and medical terminology Proficient in Word and Excel (preferred) Analytical skills
