North Carolina Certified Medical Assistant
A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Patient Engagement Center Triage.
Key Responsibilities
Collect medical histories, monitor vital signs, and prepare patients for exams and procedures
Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling billing tasks
Perform clinical tasks such as conducting basic lab tests, educating patients, and documenting care in records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred; high school or GED graduation is required
Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA is required
BLS certification is required
Experience requirements vary by level: Level I - no experience; Level II - at least 1 year; Level III - at least 3 years in a clinical setting
Must meet all requirements set forth in the Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA/RMA) Ladder Program document for Levels II and III
