North Carolina Certified Medical Assistant
A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Patient Engagement Center.
Key Responsibilities
Collect medical histories, monitor vital signs, and prepare patients for exams and procedures
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient records
Handle prescription refills and ensure timely communication with patients regarding their care
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred
High school diploma or GED is required
Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA is required
BLS certification is required
Experience requirements vary by level, with no experience needed for Level I and at least 1-3 years for Levels II and III
