Part B Authorization Specialist

A company is looking for a Part B Authorization Specialist to support their Rehabilitation and Revenue Cycle Departments. Key Responsibilities Process requests for prior authorization based on therapy guidelines and contract criteria Maintain and update internal databases and ensure accessibility of information to staff Provide training on the prior authorization process to new hires and generate reports as needed Required Qualifications Ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of daily requests General understanding of the Healthcare Managed Care authorization process Experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred Healthcare experience is mandatory Proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications
