A company is looking for a Patient Accounting Representative. Key Responsibilities Process insurance claims, reports, and billing for medical disability benefits Follow up with insurance companies and patients to ensure collectability and maximum reimbursement Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding insurance billing and collections Required Qualifications High School diploma required; Certified Medical Biller or Associate's Degree preferred At least 1 year of related experience in patient accounting or insurance billing Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook; familiarity with Epic and Change Health Care preferred No specific certifications required Ability to work Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
