Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer
A company is looking for a Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer to support reactor design in the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor Program.
Key Responsibilities
Manage PRA work in coordination with plant design and safety analysis
Develop fault trees and event trees using CAFTA and perform risk integration
Provide technical guidance on reliability and PRA-related topics to engineers and managers
Required Qualifications
B.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering with 5 years of experience, or M.S. with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year
Knowledgeable of PRA principles and ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standard
Experience in developing fault trees and event trees, preferably using CAFTA
Familiarity with nuclear design and regulatory requirements for Non-Light Water Reactors
Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering teams and strong quantitative and analytical skills
