A company is looking for a Physician Services Coding Specialist II - Remote Radiology. Key Responsibilities Assign ICD-9, CPT-4 & HCPC codes from documentation and apply appropriate modifiers Problem-solve claim edits and support the denial process as needed Uphold productivity standards and maintain a coding quality accuracy rate of 95.5% Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma/GED required; vocational or technical education beyond high school preferred Minimum of 3 years coding experience in a relevant specialty AHIMA credentials and/or AAPC certification required; AAPC specialty certifications preferred Knowledge of third-party reimbursement regulations and billing practices Moderate knowledge of CCI edits and LCDs
