A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage financial statements and reporting for state Medicaid health plans. Key Responsibilities Oversee state Medicaid health plan financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness Collaborate with finance teams on monthly calculations and support the month-end and quarter-end close processes Fulfill audit requests and maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting principles Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or related) and/or relevant accounting experience 1+ years of professional accounting experience Solid understanding and practical application of U.S. GAAP Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications Experience with general ledger/sub-ledger accounting applications
