A company is looking for a Senior Counsel - Patent Law, Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Key Responsibilities Work with scientists to identify patentable subject matter Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters and assist with litigation-related issues Required Qualifications J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction Four plus (4+) years of experience practicing intellectual property law Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Ten (10) or more years of experience in patent or intellectual property law preferred Advanced degree in organic or medicinal chemistry is preferred
