Software Development Engineer, DevOps
A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer, DevOps (US Federal).
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions for managing and operating the global service mesh
Contribute to the automation of service mesh deployment and lifecycle management using infrastructure-as-code principles
Collaborate with development teams to onboard services onto the service mesh and provide guidance on best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent practical experience in software development or infrastructure engineering
5+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, or Java
5+ years of experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and solid understanding of networking principles
