A company is looking for a Managing Counsel, Claims (Remote, HBW). Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and counsel to the Claims Department on various claims-related issues, including coverage opinions and large losses Advise on complex claims with potential extracontractual or bad faith exposure to facilitate resolution Conduct training for the Claims Organization on emerging legal trends and new laws relevant to claims handling Required Qualifications Juris Doctorate degree Licensed to practice law and in good standing within the State of Practice 7 or more years of relevant experience in insurance defense or coverage work (preferred) Project management skills Experience with coverage analysis and complex attorney conditional demands in multiple jurisdictions (preferred)
