A company is looking for a System Security Engineer to maintain and monitor network defense technologies for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Key Responsibilities Apply NIST Risk Management Framework to enhance cybersecurity and compliance Develop and submit maintenance security packages through eMASS Prepare and maintain monthly POA&Ms for each Authority to Operate package Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology with 12+ years of experience or equivalent professional experience Knowledge of the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and ATO package development Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance
