Key Responsibilities Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in American Sign Language Support students in language proficiency through grammar explanations, draft reviews, and skill development Attend tutor meetings, training sessions, and correspond with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration Required Qualifications Advanced or near-native fluency in American Sign Language Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English Prior tutoring or teaching experience in the target language is preferred Graduate students preferred; advanced undergraduate students will be considered Familiarity with language teaching or pedagogy is preferred
