A company is looking for a Remote Emergency Department Coder. Key Responsibilities: Accurately code Emergency Department records in compliance with industry standards and guidelines Utilize EPIC software to perform coding tasks efficiently Ensure coding accuracy and completeness to support proper billing and reimbursement processes Required Qualifications: CCS credential required Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department coding experience Familiarity with EPIC software is preferred but not mandatory Availability for at least 20 hours per week, with flexible days and hours Must pass a pre-employment coding proficiency test and background screenings
