Clearance Specialist

A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist to support National Specialty Infusion patients. Key Responsibilities Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and documenting insurance coverage Calculate estimated patient financial responsibilities and secure prior authorizations Communicate with patients and other departments regarding referral status and coverage updates Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience preferred Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
