A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist to support Specialty Infusion Pharmacy needs in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and documenting insurance coverage Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility and secure prior authorization from payers Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in home infusion specialty pharmacy or medical intake/reimbursement preferred Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel and Word Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
