A company is looking for a HIM Document Management Technician. Key Responsibilities Assign ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes for outpatient claims and ensure a valid database for research and reporting Perform quality control on electronic documents, resolving errors and escalating unresolved issues Analyze electronic health records for completeness and assist with chart completion and audits Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years of office experience and/or in a HIM department Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology Intermediate computer skills/experience Preferred: Associate's Degree and RHIT or RHIA certification
