Command Center Technician
A company is looking for a Command Center Technician to monitor enterprise IT systems and manage support tickets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform first-level triage of events, including running scripts to restart system processes and services
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system errors and job stoppages to maintain services and prevent outages
Process output from nightly batch jobs and manage data sets on tapes and disk
Required Qualifications
Associates Degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience required
At least 1 year of technical experience, including knowledge of ITIL
Working knowledge of mainframe processes, workload automation tools, and enterprise monitoring tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24x7x365 environment, including mandatory weekends and holidays
