A company is looking for a Compliance Lead, Group Benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Provide regulatory compliance support and oversight for state and federal leave programs and Group Disability products
Research and analyze laws to ensure compliance and develop oversight protocols
Deliver guidance and support for compliance risk assessments and enterprise compliance projects
Required Qualifications
5+ years of legal/regulatory/compliance experience in life/health insurance, focusing on absence management
An undergraduate degree is required; advanced degrees (JD or MBA) are preferred but not mandatory
Strong relationship orientation and ability to navigate organizational dynamics
Self-motivated with a strong working knowledge of relevant regulations
Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
