A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to manage various accounting operations and processes. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly close processes including payroll accounting, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets Oversee international accounting processes, statutory audits, and intercompany transactions Serve as a leader and mentor for direct reports, providing support for third-party advisors related to tax and audits Required Qualifications Accounting or Finance degree required; MAcc or MBA preferred CPA certification is required 3-5 years of public accounting experience Advanced Excel and ERP experience (Workday preferred, but not required) Ability to lead and manage others effectively
