A company is looking for a Non-Clinical - Health and Information Management - Medical Code professional. Key Responsibilities Validate and review codes for assigned providers based on medical record documentation while adhering to coding and compliance guidelines Resolve all assigned pre-billing edits and communicate billing-related issues to supervisors Participate in coding educational opportunities and provide timely feedback to providers to clarify coding concerns Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of professional coding experience in a medical office setting Experience in Rheumatology is highly preferred EPIC experience is required Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is mandatory
