A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor, fully remote in Alabama. Key Responsibilities Engage with individuals over the phone to provide support during emotional distress or mental health challenges Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation and providing resources as needed Intervene during emergencies and assist callers in developing safety plans and positive coping strategies Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social Services Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral healthcare field Experience in crisis support or similar roles is highly valued Must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace with a stable, wired internet connection
