Cybersecurity Engineer SME
A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer SME who provides technical and management leadership for mission-critical cybersecurity efforts across classified networks and systems. Key Responsibilities Serve as a technical and strategic lead across cybersecurity initiatives supporting system accreditation and continuous monitoring for classified systems Lead or support RMF-based Authorization & Assessment (A&A) activities, documentation, and eMASS packages for DoD systems, including Government cloud environments Drive vulnerability remediation across cybersecurity tools and interpret results within mission and risk context Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering) 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information assurance, including direct RMF, ATO, and vulnerability management responsibilities Deep experience with DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, ATO processes, and secure system engineering Experience with cybersecurity operations and tooling across hybrid and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAM Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP) preferred
