A company is looking for a Geospatial Analyst to support a major satellite mission assessing methane emissions. Key Responsibilities Perform geospatial analytics of MethaneSAT methane concentration maps and plume detections Conduct source attribution of detected methane plumes and manage a common database of satellite-based detections Create automated geoprocessing workflows and prepare data visualizations and reports of findings Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field Strong quantitative background in geospatial data analytics and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) Background or interest in methane emissions from various sources is desired Experience with programming languages, preferably Python Experience working with large geospatial and satellite datasets is highly desired
