Inpatient Coder - RHIT/RHIA Required

A company is looking for an Inpatient Complex Coder for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities Review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information from patient medical records for billing purposes Abstract information from medical records for patient database compilation to support research and decision making Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, reimbursement policies, and accreditation standards Required Qualifications Degree in Medical Record Sciences or completion of a certification program with RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification eligibility Certification (RHIT, RHIA, or CCS) must be obtained within one year of employment Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding systems Minimum of two years of inpatient coding experience or equivalent is required Additional coding experience is preferred
