A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist - Remote. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze medical records for inpatient and outpatient services to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes Adhere to the Standards of Ethical Coding and official coding guidelines Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation Required Qualifications High school diploma Prior coding experience in ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT coding in an acute care setting Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC to be obtained within 6 months of employment A.S. or B.S. from an accredited Health Information program is preferred
