Lead Technical Revenue Accountant

A company is looking for a Lead Technical Revenue Accountant to ensure the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of revenue recognition for high-volume, global transactions. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize scalable, automated accounting processes for revenue streams and operational efficiency Provide technical accounting guidance on new business models and product launches, ensuring compliance with accounting standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement revenue recognition systems and maintain internal controls Required Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related discipline CPA certification (or equivalent) is strongly preferred Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, with experience in technical accounting guidance Hands-on experience with payment platforms or fintech solutions and advanced Excel skills
