Loss Mitigation Liaison

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I, responsible for managing the loss mitigation process for mortgage loan borrowers. Key Responsibilities Act as the Single Point of Contact for delinquent mortgage loan borrowers, handling inbound and outbound calls Collect consumer financial information and assist borrowers in reviewing loss mitigation documents Communicate loss mitigation approvals or declines and explain the foreclosure process as necessary Required Qualifications A combined 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone Excellent customer service skills Mortgage collections experience preferred
