Maine Licensed Public Health Physician
A company is looking for a Public Health Physician to provide expertise in workplace health and safety, PFAS response, and carbon monoxide poisoning surveillance.
Key Responsibilities
Support the establishment of the Maine CDC Worker Safety and Health Program and improve compliance with safety regulations
Assist in developing a reporting system for PFAS test results and evaluate farm workers' exposure to PFAS
Review analysis findings and provide feedback on manuscripts related to carbon monoxide poisoning surveillance
Required Qualifications
License to practice medicine in Maine
Training and experience with environmental and occupational chemical exposures
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
Ability to understand scientific, epidemiologic, and medical literature
Experience in reviewing and creating public health guidance for chemical exposures
