Mortgage Collections Specialist
A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist I responsible for collecting on delinquent mortgage loans. Key Responsibilities: Initiate contact with consumers in early stages of mortgage loan default to collect past due payments Assess consumer's financial situation, identify solutions, and arrange repayment plans Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage loan products and maintain compliance with state-specific regulations Required Qualifications: A combined 2 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software Collections experience preferred Knowledge of internal systems is beneficial Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
