Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize MySQL instances in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance Implement disaster recovery strategies and maintain security and compliance for databases Automate workflows and mentor junior DBAs while participating in on-call support Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 10+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA, with at least 4 years in DBaaS/cloud environments Expertise in MySQL architecture, including InnoDB and replication Proficiency in scripting (Python/Shell) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
