A company is looking for a Fractional HR & Compliance Manager to oversee HR and compliance functions across multiple U.S. states.
Key Responsibilities
Manage state registrations and compliance for employment across various U.S. states
Oversee state-specific filings, tax registrations, and renewals in collaboration with relevant teams
Provide HR policy guidance and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in HR operations, compliance, or people management roles
Expertise in employment laws and tax requirements, particularly in New York and California
Experience with managing a PEO or ASO
Familiarity with multi-state employment practices and filings
HR certifications or payroll/tax credentials are a plus
