A company is looking for a Senior Associate, Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance Underwriter. Key Responsibilities Analyze and evaluate insurance applications to determine risk and make approval decisions Classify morbidity risk based on medical information and adhere to underwriting guidelines Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility and compliance procedures while maintaining productivity levels Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred, BS, RN, or equivalent insurance industry experience Minimum of 3 years of LTC underwriting experience or equivalent life, disability, or health insurance underwriting experience Solid understanding of risk factors related to morbidity risk management Knowledge of medical terminology or medical evaluation Proficient PC skills and strong organizational abilities
