A company is looking for a Norwegian Language Instructor to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). Key Responsibilities Provide professional foreign language instruction in classroom and virtual environments, tailored to students' needs Utilize proficiency-oriented principles and culturally-based methods to enhance language acquisition and practical application Integrate diverse instructional technologies and authentic materials to create an immersive learning experience Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least two years of relevant experience in teaching adults using proficiency-oriented methods Four years of teaching experience may substitute for education; experience with educational technology is preferred Must be an educated native speaker of the target language with strong English skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles Oral Proficiency Interview scores of Level 3 or above in the target language and Level 2 or above in English
