Organ Placement Specialist
A company is looking for an Organ Placement Specialist responsible for coordinating organ transplantation processes. Key Responsibilities Screen organ offers against transplant center criteria and respond to incoming organ offers Conduct wellness checks with wait-listed transplant patients and triage patient calls to appropriate parties Facilitate communication between transplant centers, OPOs, and medical staff regarding organ offers and patient information Required Qualifications and Education High School Diploma or G.E.D 3 years of medical background or training (e.g., EMT, LPN, RN) 2+ years in the field of organ donation preferred CTP, CCTC, and/or CPTC certifications preferred Completion of coursework related to Human Anatomy and Physiology preferred
