PFS Specialist - Insurance Collections

A company is looking for a PFS Specialist II (Back End). Key Responsibilities: Work through outstanding A/R, including credits and denials, to reduce aging buckets Submit corrected claims and appeals based on payer guidelines in a timely manner Document account actions per Standard Operating Procedures and assist with training team members Required Qualifications: 3+ years of healthcare insurance collections experience (not full-cycle billing) Expertise in denials, appeals, and working with commercial & government payers Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced level required) Experience handling high-volume collections (40+ accounts per day) Medicare experience is required
