Key Responsibilities Code inpatient and outpatient hospital records, including ED, Home Health & Hospice records Review medical records to assign appropriate codes for financial reimbursement and compliance Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and resolve pre-bill edits and denials Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required One of the following coding certifications at time of hire: CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT/RHIA Three to five years of coding experience required Inpatient coding experience preferred Ability to achieve coding credentials within one year of hire
