Key Responsibilities Review requestor information and determine records to be released in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Handle phone inquiries regarding various ROI issues and process requests from physician offices as needed Log medical record requests into the ROI On-Line database and comply with facility policies and regulations Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required One or more years of experience entering data into computer systems Experience in Release of Information in a physician's office or HIM Department is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred Proficiency in using computer applications and the internet
