Senior Payer Policy Analyst

A company is looking for a Senior Payer Policy Analyst, responsible for assisting with policy and alliance development activities related to payer policy and reimbursement issues. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with management teams to understand technologies and provide insights on payer policy Attend payer meetings to communicate policy concerns and monitor updates impacting revenue Assist in developing policy positions and advocate for company interests regarding legislation and regulations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant work experience (or 7 years without a degree) Strong preference for an advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.A./M.S., etc.) Prior experience in genetic counseling or clinical/business settings Familiarity with insurance guidelines and payer policy Experience with healthcare revenue cycle processes such as coding and claims management
