Senior Payer Policy Analyst

A company is looking for a Senior Payer Policy Analyst to assist in policy and alliance development activities. Key Responsibilities Develop relationships with state Medicaid contacts to enhance reimbursement for genetic testing Monitor payer policy updates and act as a liaison between medical directors and payer medical directors Assist in the development of policy strategies and advocate company positions on regulatory proposals Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of work experience (or 7 years without a degree) Strong preference for an advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.A. / M.S., CGC, RN) Prior experience in developing State Medicaid relationships and reimbursements for genetic testing Experience with insurance guidelines and payer policy Experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes including claims and billing compliance
