State Licensed Associate Counsel

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its remote in-house global legal team. Key Responsibilities: Review, revise, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, and data protection agreements Ensure compliance of transactional documents and company initiatives with legal requirements and policies Collaborate with Sales to support negotiation processes and provide internal training on transactional issues Required Qualifications: J.D. degree and active law license in one U.S. state or District of Columbia Understanding of data privacy principles (GDPR, CCPA, and U.K. privacy law) preferred Law firm experience is preferred Ability to make well-reasoned legal and business judgments Hands-on attitude and results-oriented mentality
