State Licensed Senior Coverage Counsel

A company is looking for a Sr. Coverage Counsel- Specialty to provide legal counsel focused on insurance coverage issues. Key Responsibilities Research and provide legal advice on coverage issues related to specialty claims Develop strategies with claim handlers to resolve coverage disputes Manage selective coverage litigation and review proposed coverage actions Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Significant experience preparing coverage opinions on claims-made insurance policies Experience litigating insurance coverage and related bad faith disputes is a plus JD degree or equivalent and admitted to practice in at least one US jurisdiction Preferably 6 or more years of experience in property & casualty insurance coverage matters Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
