A company is looking for a Hospice Afterhours Triage Nurse for part-time weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities Assess physical, environmental, and emotional factors telephonically to determine hospice needs Utilize EHR to develop recommendations based on the patient's plan of care Collaborate with pharmacies and other agencies for effective patient management and assign visits to on-call field staff Required Qualifications Current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment One year of experience as a registered nurse Current CPR certification Knowledge of the needs of terminally ill patients and their caregivers Comfortable with technology and willing to obtain additional RN licenses in other states
