A company is looking for a Writing Center Specialist responsible for providing writing coaching and support to students. Key Responsibilities Provides writing coaching and guidance to students on their essays and papers Facilitates the transition of new students into their courses and offers proactive advisement for continuing students Creates and conducts tutorials on writing and APA formatting while promoting a positive workplace culture Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Writing, English, or related fields; Master's degree preferred One to three years of teaching experience in an educational setting preferred Knowledge of English language structure, academic processes, and basic computer operations Ability to manage time effectively and utilize critical thinking skills Experience with office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office and online educational platforms
