Benefit Administrator
A company is looking for a Benefit Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Installs and codes medical, dental, vision, and drug benefit designs for third-party administration customers
Conducts peer audits and testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal mandates
Assists in resolving benefit inquiries and maintains procedural documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
5 years of experience in health insurance claims and/or customer service for Benefit Administrator I; 2 years as a Benefit Administrator I or equivalent for Benefit Administrator II
General understanding of health care benefits, contracts, and claims adjudication
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and benefit administration systems
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
