Certified Coding Validator

A company is looking for a Coding Validator. Key Responsibilities Assist Coding Managers with oversight and evaluation of coding functions for efficiency and accuracy Determine individual education needs of coders and collaborate to develop training materials Administer and evaluate the effectiveness of education plans and performance improvement plans Required Qualifications Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field; Bachelor's preferred Certification such as CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or RHIT/RHIA; two certifications preferred Minimum of five years of coding experience in an acute hospital setting Experience as a coding validator and supervisory experience is highly desirable
