A company is looking for a Clinical Investigator I (Special Investigation Unit). Key Responsibilities Audit medical records to identify inappropriate billing practices and recommend next steps Investigate and analyze provider billing patterns based on medical records and regulatory guidelines Prepare summaries of findings and recommend changes to prevent future fraudulent practices Required Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred Coding Certification and 2+ years of medical coding experience or relevant clinical license with 2+ years of related experience Experience in provider education preferred Coding certification from an accredited organization is preferred Clinical license (RN, LPC, LCSW, LMHC, PT, OT, or ST) is preferred
