Cyber Defense Analyst

A company is looking for a Cyber Defense Analyst II to join their team in a hybrid full-time role. Key Responsibilities Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as necessary and coordinating incident response functions Analyze and report on cyber defense incidents, including real-time handling and documentation from detection to resolution Characterize network traffic and perform log analysis to identify potential threats and provide trend analysis reports Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Associate's degree with 2 years relevant experience or HS Diploma/GED with 4 years relevant experience) 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security, or 5 years in system or network administration Experience with incident response, threat modeling, or vulnerability management is preferred Ability to analyze and correlate threat assessment data Familiarity with cyber defense tools and techniques
