Genetic Counseling Program Director

A company is looking for a Program Director for the Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling. Key Responsibilities Oversee the organization, administration, and fiscal budget of the Genetic Counseling program Lead curriculum development, student recruitment, and faculty supervision Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain relationships with affiliate partners Required Qualifications MS degree and Board Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics Experience as an instructor for at least six credit hours of post-secondary education Completion of at least 10 hours of training in curriculum design or related fields within the last 10 years (if first-time program director) Fieldwork supervision experience for at least five genetic counseling graduate students for a minimum of 500 total contact hours in the last 10 years Availability for year-round program administration and teaching
