A company is looking for an IT Risk Mitigation Engineer II, responsible for supporting the Risk Mitigation team in managing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance across IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Risk Mitigation team, focusing on vulnerability management and reporting Collaborate with Security and IT Infrastructure to implement risk-based remediation requirements Maintain and support vulnerability management programs, including regular scans and assessments of systems and applications Required Qualifications Associates degree or competency-based degree in a related IT discipline preferred 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management or compliance monitoring Experience with patching tools and vulnerability scanning tools Knowledge of IT controls monitoring for regulatory and compliance requirements Functional knowledge of information security best practices and ITIL principles
