A company is looking for a Head of HR Legal to join their Corporate External & Legal Affairs leadership team. Key Responsibilities Provide advice and counsel on a range of employment law issues and support HR compliance Identify and mitigate employment law risks while informing the business of relevant laws and best practices Manage outside counsel and negotiate resolutions to claims and other employment matters globally Required Qualifications Juris Doctor or international equivalent degree with 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney Active license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction Experience advising on employment and labor law matters, including litigation in state and federal court Experience with employment law issues such as discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour laws Familiarity with technology clients and the ability to leverage best practices from a parent company
